Pete brings 16 years of experience to J.D. Gordon Advertising (JDG). In his role as Senior Art Director, Pete focuses on concepting, designing and implementing electronic media efforts which include: websites, web banner advertising, e-newsletters, SEO and other interactive marketing. In addition, Pete also provides art direction for various print and point of sale marketing, conductive research, and commissions photographers, programmers and other vendors. Pete has concepted and designed for such clients as Cricket Wireless, Cy Wakeman, Side Dump Industries, Quatro Composites, Pro Link Realty, Indian Youth of America, Heidman Law Firm, and Countryside Senior Living.
Prior to working for JDG, Pete worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Blue Earth Marketing. He managed print and web design projects, shot product photography, and created 3D virtual tours for businesses. Pete’s other work experience includes design work at Artisan Press, Spectra Grafx Studios, and John Holmes Publishing.
In 2006, Pete won two Best of Category Gold Addy awards for his design of the Liteform Technologies website and his artwork for the CSADV campaign. In 2005, he received a Gold Addy/Best of Category for his design of the AllNative.com website. In 1997, Pete was honored with a National Addy for his work on an Interactive CD titled, “Sides and Sights of Morningside College.” It was the first Addy ever awarded in the Interactive CD category.
Pete graduated from Morningside College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and minors in Mass Communications and Photography.
