J.D. Gordon Advertising Adds Account Executive and Graphic Designer

Sioux City, IA -- JD Gordon Advertising has welcomed Daniel Thompson as an account executive and Kate Puetz as a graphic designer.  Thompson will assist with handling local and regional clients, while Puetz will work with a national wireless telecommunications client, in addition to serving local and regional clients.

Thompson has worked in sales and marketing for more than 20 years. Most recently he served as marketing director of The Healey Werks in Lawton, Iowa, where he handled website development, advertising, photography, technical writing and market growth research.

Thompson previously spent 14 years at Gateway as a corporate federal accounts executive. He also has served as a regional sales engineer at Sencore Electronics in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He has an associate degree in telecommunications from Western Iowa Tech Community College and is working toward a bachelor's degree at Morningside College. He previously served in the U.S. Navy.

Before joining J.D. Gordon, Puetz worked as a contract designer and as a graphic designer for Spark Stationery in Sioux Falls.  She was also a transportation marketing student intern at Daktronics, Inc.  Puetz graduated from South Dakota State University with a bachelor of science degree in graphic design in 2007.

Puetz’ work has been showcased in NewYorkWeddingsMagazine.com and Stationery Trends Magazine.  She also earned a Gold Addy in 2006.
