J.D. Gordon began in October of 2002 as a freelance design studio in Omaha, NE. In 2003 a decision was made to relocate J.D. Gordon to Sioux City, IA. Business quickly consumed the small offices J.D. Gordon had rented and in October of 2004 J.D. Gordon principal, Jeff Gordon, purchased and began renovating an old home in the Historic Rose Hill district of Sioux City. The historic home had the character & charm that Jeff envisioned for the J.D. Gordon offices. By January 2005, J.D. Gordon was open for business at 1714 Summit Street.

As the business developed, expanding capabilities and services evolved J.D. Gordon beyond a basic design studio. In January of 2006, J.D. Gordon became a full-service advertising agency and can now accommodate a client’s every advertising need.
