Cheryle has over 20 years of advertising, strategic planning, management and direct marketing experience. As Account Planner, Cheryle works closely with clients to understand their consumers, challenges and opportunities. She then works with the various members of the J.D. Gordon Advertising (JDG) team to research and develop integrated marketing plans, campaigns and creative solutions that meet clients’ business and strategic goals.

Prior to joining JDG, Cheryle has held the position of marketing manager at Denver Public Schools Credit Union and the Colorado Credit Union League in Denver, CO; First Federal Savings Bank in Sioux City, IA; and Downey Savings and Loan Association in Newport Beach, CA. She was responsible for strategic planning, developing marketing goals and plans, database research, sales support, special events, public relations, and all creative implementation. In addition, Cheryle worked as a senior marketing manager for Investment Research Institute in Cincinnati, OH and as a senior copywriter for Oster Communications, Inc. in Cedar Falls, IA.

Cheryle’s work has earned awards from the American Advertising Federation, Women in Communications, and a national CUNA Diamond marketing award.

Cheryle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications with an
emphasis in Advertising from Iowa State University. She is a member of the American Advertising Federation and the Omaha American Marketing Association.
